Needles and Yarmouth or Lymington
Perhaps the iconic landmark of the Solent. The Needles rocks are a welcome sight for many a returning yacht. Then to Yarmouth or Lymington for lunch and some wandering through the historic streets.

“It was a perfect day. Our first time chartering a boat like this, and we enjoyed every minute. The crew were so attentive and everything went smoothly”

After a recce of Cowes, and perhaps a pint at the Anchor, journey down the busy Medina river to the Folly Inn for lunch. A relaxed journey back, perhaps some time for some Solent sightseeing.

The busy town of Lymington is a renowned yachting centre and offers a choice of delightful pubs restaurants and interesting shops to while away an afternoon.
Cowes is regarded as the centre of British yachting and there’s lots to see in this busy little town. Shops specialising in all types of nautical gear and more places to eat and drink than you can imagine. Our favourite place.
Fishing boats, ferries and yachts of all kinds vie for space in this lovely little harbour in the west of the Isle of Wight. Amble through the narrow streets with pubs and restaurants to suit all pockets
